It's not all giggles and helpful health advice. There are parts of this book which are sad and parts which are just horrifying. There's infanticide, murder and rape. These awful parts of a woman's sex life come to us from court cases and they give us a glimpse into their worlds.

That is the truth of it. Sad and horrifying is a most apt way of putting it.
In fact your words here would have made the best book review ever but then who would want to dive into such a book?
But there we a good many laughs and some eye popping moments for good measure too.

Even a book review which said that would let people know what they might expect, and even knowing that a book is heartbreaking in places will encourage people to read it. Sadly, visibility on book sites like Amazon is driven by reviews, so they're all helpful. It shows people are talking about the book.
